I got up at 6am this morning and did my workout. I'm on the Intermediate program. I thought it looked easy when I was looking at it on paper, but in reality man was it hard! But I did it! It took me 1 hour from start to finish.
The 20 minute run seemed to just go on forever (I did forget my ipod, which probably wouldv'e helped!), but I persisted and did the whole 20 minutes.
The 4 rounds of the Circuit were the hardest by far, especially the burpees! I had to take breaks in between, just a few moments here and there, to catch my breath. Again I persisted and got through! The abs and stretching weren't a problem.
Then I ate the delicious breakfast of Berry Brushchetta. I had never had Ricotta cheese before, but I liked it. Then again I like most foods, haha. It was tasty! That's why I think this time I won't fail, as I won't be starving like on most diets. I'm also enjoying a herbal tea, mint ginger, instead of my usual coffee. I have prepared my sandwich for lunch - Roast Beef and Beetroot with Horseradish Cream - which I am quite looking forward too, and am taking 20 wholegrain Sakata's for my snack.
Off to placement now. To be continued....
Lunch was lovely! I really enjoyed the sandwich. It was filling and tasty. Much better than the food you would usually get on a 'diet'. I forgot to take my herbal tea with me so I had a half cup of black coffee, no sugar, hope that's ok... A little hungry now, but just having a tea and won't eat anything until I make the fish stew. Not sure if I'll go to Yoga.. Prob should but I may just rest...
Fish stew was quite nice. I accidentally picked up mixed spice instead of cajun though, so probably wouldv'e been nicer with the cajun. Not sure if mixed spice may be more for cakes and sweets, rather then stews... But anyway, wasn't too bad. I'll be having it for lunch tomorrow as well.
Day One done! :)
