Day 5!

This morning's workout seemed way more lax then the previous 4 days. I'm thinking this may be the calm before the storm....the storm being our Super Saturday Session! Looking over it, it is hardcore!! But I will do it. Even if I have to take breaks in between exercises. I think doing it slowly is better than not doing it at all. Not saying I'm not going to give it my best, I will! Still haven't really mastered the burpee, so I'm happy tomorrow's burpees are off the back of the bench! I'm going to try to go for a run tonight because I feel like I didn't really do enough this morning, but we'll see.

Last night I made my stew for Sunday lunch and the mince pie mix for tonight. I also made my snack and lunch for today. I have pumpkin soup leftovers for Saturday's lunch and dinner. So now all I have to do is cook breakfast on Sat and Sun and Sunday nights dinner. Talk about organised! I think it is helpful to do as many meals as I can beforehand and then label them with when they are to be eaten.

I am going to organise my shopping list tomorrow while I'm watching the footy and try to minimise it a bit. I realised this week that some recipes serve 4 or even 8, which I didn't realise when I was doing my shopping, so I ended up with extra. This time I will compare the shopping list and recipes to make sure I am only buying for 1, or for 2 when I need left overs. Should be a little cheaper then.

I've found looking at the before and after pics on the 12wbt site help to motivate me and so do reading the posts. I love how theres a little community all striving for the same things!

Day 4!

Day 4! Yay! Can't wait til week one is over. Gotta get easier after that. Don't get me wrong, I am loving this program, I just want it to become habit.
Was happy to have the berry bruschetta for brekky again and am really looking forward to the pork dinner! Mmm...
The exercises for next week are the same as this week, which is good for my printer ink. The menu sounds really delicious again. Excited to try all those meals.
Trying to psych myself up for the Saturday session. Is gonna be massive!

Day 3!

Up at 6am again. Was very surprised when I weighed myself to see that I have lost 1.9kgs! I thought weighing myself so soon would just be a waste of time, but apparently it wasn't and that bit of weight loss motivates me to keep going. The meal was nice tonight, though I think I put a little too much mint!

Last night when I was making the pumpkin soup, I didn't realise it served 8, so I had a bit extra. Luckily I only used half a pumpkin anyway, so I ate it for dinner, will have it for lunch tomorrow and then for lunch and dinner on Saturday. This will allow me to use it up, and save money as I'll be struggling to do the shopping for next week as it is! Plus I was thinking about having the treat meal, but I do not wanna risk ruining my hard work.

The dress I bought arrived yesterday, so I hung it off my inspiration board. Man it looks small! But I'm determined to fit comfortably into it.

Looking forward to day 4 tomorrow. One more day down!

Oh how I hate burpees. No! I love burpees! Burpees are fantastic! I love burpees! Burpees are fantastic! I love burpees! Burpees are fantastic! I love burpees! Burpees are fantastic! I love burpees! Burpees are fantastic! I love burpees! Burpees are fantastic! I love burpees! Burpees are fantastic!

Day 2!

So this morning I did the toning workout. Again it was very hard! I'm glad it's so intense though, because it really feels like I'm working hard and doing something. I can't wait until it gets easier. Oh how I hate burpees!! They are the worst! I'll know I've gone through a transformation when I can do burpees without almost dying.

Porridge was nice. I usually have it with milk and honey, so I was surprised how nice it was without milk, and with apple and cinnamon. I made two serves, so I can have the other one on the next porridge day. I had a punnet of strawberries for my recess snack and then the left over stew for lunch. Tonight I'll make the pumpkin soup and keep some, for I think it's Thursdays lunch.

I'm going to compare the regular and vegetarian meal plans and try to work out if it will be cheaper to do the vegetarian one...

I am so very tired! I will try to go to bed earlier, though when I do I cannot sleep.

Love;ly snack of sliced pear, ricotta cheese and sultanas:

I bought this dress (from my fave website boohoo.com.au) in size 10. When I am thin and toned enough to fit comfortably into this I will have reached my goal. I am currently size 12-14.

Day 1!

I got up at 6am this morning and did my workout. I'm on the Intermediate program. I thought it looked easy when I was looking at it on paper, but in reality man was it hard! But I did it! It took me 1 hour from start to finish.

The 20 minute run seemed to just go on forever (I did forget my ipod, which probably wouldv'e helped!), but I persisted and did the whole 20 minutes.

The 4 rounds of the Circuit were the hardest by far, especially the burpees! I had to take breaks in between, just a few moments here and there, to catch my breath. Again I persisted and got through! The abs and stretching weren't a problem.

Then I ate the delicious breakfast of Berry Brushchetta. I had never had Ricotta cheese before, but I liked it. Then again I like most foods, haha. It was tasty! That's why I think this time I won't fail, as I won't be starving like on most diets. I'm also enjoying a herbal tea, mint ginger, instead of my usual coffee. I have prepared my sandwich for lunch - Roast Beef and Beetroot with Horseradish Cream - which I am quite looking forward too, and am taking 20 wholegrain Sakata's for my snack.

Off to placement now. To be continued....

Lunch was lovely! I really enjoyed the sandwich. It was filling and tasty. Much better than the food you would usually get on a 'diet'. I forgot to take my herbal tea with me so I had a half cup of black coffee, no sugar, hope that's ok... A little hungry now, but just having a tea and won't eat anything until I make the fish stew. Not sure if I'll go to Yoga.. Prob should but I may just rest...

Fish stew was quite nice. I accidentally picked up mixed spice instead of cajun though, so probably wouldv'e been nicer with the cajun. Not sure if mixed spice may be more for cakes and sweets, rather then stews... But anyway, wasn't too bad. I'll be having it for lunch tomorrow as well.

Day One done! :)

Shopping Done!

Just finished buying everything on the shopping list! Well except for Kangaroo mince, as Coles didn't have it, so I'll try to get it somewhere else tomorrow. $180 is how much it cost! Bit hard on the pocket when I'm a uni student, but if it works it'll all be worth it!

I'm going to get up at 6am tomorrow to do my first work out. I think if I get it out of the way in the morning it will be easier.
Do your workout in the morning, before your brain works out what your doing.

Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of our lives.

Good luck to everyone! I can't wait to get started!
